Run, don't walk, to grab tickets for what's being billed as "The Hottest Ticket in Political History." Former Presidents Bill Clinton and George W. Bush will face off at Radio City Music Hall on February 25, as part of a "Minds That Move the World" speakers series. The program brings together liberal and conservative thinkers, such as Karl Rove, James Carville, Al Gore, Bill Maher, and Mike Huckabee. The tickets, which go on sale Sunday, are being hawked for $60 to $1,250.

Bill Maher should run for office. ANY office! He's got a heart for America, though some would say he has no heart. Maher is one of the greatest satirists in America. He knows his political stuff, and he puts the clowns in DC on the reality carpet. I SOOOOOO wish I could attend this forum.

So if I buy a ticket for $1,250, does that mean Bush will be 20.8333 times smarter than if I bought a $60 ticket?

I'd say the pressure falls firmly on Clinton. It's his to lose.
And when the HELL did Bill Maher earn the title "thinker?"

Clinton's to lose? It's truly a battle of wits with an unarmed man.

I think that what rowland meant was that George has no respect or influence to lose over this, not that Clinton will lose.

I guess politics has replaced reality TV as America's favorite diversion. Maybe now that Al Gore's revenue from the global warming crusade has fell off, he can make an economic comeback with a reality show where he and Tipper try to give up meat.

The guy who got the most votes for President in 2000 but was denied the White House "needs a bashing" more than the guy who came in second and then wrecked the country and the Middle East? Typical wingnut logic. Gore has done what he could to raise awareness of climate change, trying to improve the world. Bush made the world a much worse place than he found it.

I guess you don't believe in global warming.
Lets be rational.
If Al gore and most of the World Scientists are wrong the Earth will still be a great place to live we will have less pollution and more efficient energy.
If you and other global warming doubters are wrong where will we not have a comfortable planet to live on. What do we do then?
I'm sorry, I'm going to go with science on this one.

War criminal George Bush (and his boss, Dick Cheney) ought to be in the Hauge next to the other war criminal, Karadzic. Shame on Obama for allowing the greatest presidential crime since Watergate to go unpunished. And that camera whore, Bill Clinton, would pose with Hitler if it got him on the front page just one more time. Sickening. Both of them.

The only thing that would account for the previous administration from having to account for their crimes would be if there was a new world order in place.

I agree that the depraved moron, Bushboy, should be in the docket of the Hague to answer for war crimes with his evil partner, Cheney.
But it's unrealistic to expect Obama to prosecute them. He's got more than enough on his plate with two wars, a collapsed economy and unrepentent and dangerous financial services community.
Going after these two low-lifes would consume the WH, and the vast majority of the American people want him to get us out of the messes Bushboy and Cheney got us into, and to hell with both of them.

Exactly... Even if I had the money, why would I waste a dime of it on an event like this, except for the pure amusement of watching W. getting the daylights kicked out of him by Slick Willie? There's really not much of a contest here. We have already seen the kind of leadership and communication skills (or total lack thereof?) coming from both of them for several years now... It would be much more entertaining to watch the two of them duke it out in hand-to-hand combat. Now that is something I would be willing to watch on Pay per view.

Global warming is caused by the farts from cows, so the scientist tell us. Gore eats a lot of cow meat ( have you seen him lately). Maybe we can save the planet if he eats less cow meat and insulates his mansion. This could at least be a start.

What possibly could these two morons have to say to one another, let alone say to the people that would remotely be of interest. the tickets should be for free....sought of like a gift to whom ever is interested...that's number one.....1600 dollars when people are trying to scrape together ends meat.....on one side we have one lunatics claim to fame will be sucking so much Chinese ass that his new name ought to be Bill chufat...while his incompetent global security forces were running around trying to sweep up all of his cigar ashes ......Bin la la love as they now refer to him in Harlem was planning the most destructive attack against Americans on American soil since Pearle harbour.....countless pages of lies and deception buy his administration to cover up there lack of ability to protect American citizens...aaaand what ever information you can,t get will be swept under the beautiful new carpet called classified top secret in the interest of national security....so that when your old and gray in your retirement years.....20years down the road....martin scorsese ........kids or grand kids...will make a nice action packed movie for your entertainment......can't wait to see how screwed we really were....Then we have the other war monger...who could't wait to blow shit up.....this mans legacy ought to be a 10 year mini series....probably one one the most embarrassing presidents of all time....his list of destructive behaviour is to long to even list.....our country will never be the same again....our financial recovery from this mess is a dream....the man trampled on the constitution, better yet ran over it,is probably the right word......45days and the patriot bill was drawn up and passed with the speed and accuracy of a marksmen......we all no though it was theBig Bush not the liiittle Bush running the country....16 years of big Bush....now that's a lot of Bush

This would be impressive if both were doing it for free; since they are not, it's about making an easy buck for both. This debate is about as inticing as paying to see Palin spew her ignorance. I am amazed that there are people with cash to burn who want tickets to hear any of the above, considering none of them are really involved in our government at this point in their careers, except among those who really believe what comes out of their mouths has some bearing on today's policy. Politically, all 3 of them are has-beens.

The people who would pay to see this? - the "beneficiaries", whoops... I mean contributors who put the politicians in office. Time for some of the lobbyists to "give back a little".
As for content: Clinton will say "I got rich and a BJ, and my friends did OK too" and Bush will say "me and daddy's friends- well we got us a whole lot richer, and I f#* ed everybody else" they will smile, shake hands and walk off stage.
